Ukraine Strikes Deepen Fuel Crisis in Russian-Occupied Territories

Ukraine’s sustained campaign of drone strikes against Russian-controlled territories is causing significant disruptions to fuel supplies and logistics networks in occupied regions, particularly Crimea.
Military analysts say the attacks are increasingly targeting transport corridors and supply routes used to move fuel, equipment and personnel to frontline positions.
The disruptions have reportedly led to long queues at petrol stations, fuel rationing measures and sharp increases in fuel prices across parts of Crimea.

Russian-installed authorities have acknowledged difficulties in maintaining adequate fuel supplies and have introduced emergency measures to assist affected residents and tourists.
The campaign comes on top of months of Ukrainian long-range strikes targeting oil refineries and fuel depots deep inside Russian territory.
Security experts say the combined strategy is designed to weaken Russia’s military logistics while increasing economic and political pressure on Moscow.
The attacks have also prompted restrictions on civilian movement along key routes linking occupied territories with Russia.
