JUST IN: Some Passengers Feared Dead in Warri–Itakpe Train Derailment

Some passengers are feared dead following the derailment of a train operating on the Warri–Itakpe rail corridor, according to emerging reports.

Emergency responders and relevant authorities are currently at the scene as rescue and assessment operations continue.

The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) had earlier confirmed the incident and said a detailed statement would be issued as more information becomes available.
