FERMA MD Deepens Leadership Capacity Through ASCON Executive Programme

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA) Engr. Dr. Emeka Agasi, is currently participating in the 14th Cohort of the Mandatory Training Programme (MTP) for Chief Executives at the Administrative Staff College of Nigeria (ASCON), Badagry.

The prestigious executive development programme brings together heads of government agencies, chief executives and senior public sector leaders from across the country to strengthen leadership competencies, enhance institutional effectiveness and promote best practices in public administration.

For Dr. Agasi, whose leadership at FERMA has been defined by a commitment to improved road maintenance, operational efficiency and institutional reforms, the programme represents another opportunity to deepen strategic leadership skills in line with evolving demands of governance and public service delivery.

Speaking on the significance of the training, the FERMA boss described the experience as highly enriching, noting that the sessions have provided valuable insights into public sector leadership, policy implementation, institutional management and contemporary governance challenges.
