
Tinubu Swears In Former Ekiti APC Governorship Aspirant Kola Alabi, Seven Others as NPC, RMAFC Commissioners

President Bola Tinubu on Monday swore in former Ekiti State All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant, Kolawole Oladipupo Alabi, alongside several others as new federal commissioners of the National Population Commission (NPC) and the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC).
The swearing-in ceremony took place at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, ahead of the commencement of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.
Alabi, who contested the APC governorship ticket ahead of the 2018 Ekiti State governorship election, was inaugurated as a commissioner of the National Population Commission, representing Ekiti State.
Also sworn in as commissioners of the National Population Commission were Nasiru Mu’azu (Zamfara State), Isaka Alada Yahaya (Kwara State), Prof. Sadiq Isah Radda (Katsina State), Suleiman Umar (Jigawa State), and Chiso Abdullahi Dattijo (Sokoto State).
For the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission, Tinubu administered the oath of office on Amina Gamawa, representing Bauchi State, and Abdullahi Mukhtar Mohammed, representing Kaduna State. Mohammed is a former Chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria.
The newly inaugurated commissioners are expected to strengthen the operations of their respective commissions in carrying out their constitutional responsibilities on population management, revenue mobilization, and fiscal allocation.
