Odumodublvck, Blaqbonez Feud Escalates as Sexual Abuse Allegations Trigger Legal Threat

The long-running rivalry between Nigerian rappers Odumodublvck and Blaqbonez has taken a dramatic turn after Odumodublvck publicly accused his fellow artiste of sexual abuse without presenting evidence to support the claims.
The allegations, made in a series of posts on X over the weekend, marked a significant escalation in a feud that has steadily intensified over the past two years.
In one of the posts, Odumodublvck alleged that influential figures within Nigeria's music industry were aware of the allegations but had deliberately chosen to remain silent. He referenced several industry personalities and organisations, claiming they had protected Blaqbonez despite what he described as "widespread knowledge" of the accusations.
Drawing a comparison with a separate high-profile case, Odumodublvck wrote:
"The only difference between Partey and Blaqbonez is that Partey has not gone to trial. The other man is guilty, but the Nigerian music industry decides to turn it into a rap beef."
He further declared that he was prepared to defend his statements in court, writing that those mentioned should sue him if his claims were false.
Blaqbonez Rejects Allegations
Blaqbonez has strongly denied the allegations, describing them as false, defamatory and part of what he believes is a sustained attempt to damage his reputation.
Rather than continue the dispute on social media, the rapper said his legal team would handle the matter through the appropriate legal channels. He expressed confidence that any legal proceedings would vindicate him.
As of the time of filing this report, no lawsuit relating to the latest allegations has been publicly filed, while no criminal charges have been announced against the artiste.
Previous Petition Resurfaces
The latest controversy has also renewed attention on a police petition filed against Blaqbonez in October 2025 by a complainant identified as "Jane Doe."
The petition alleged offences including cyberstalking, emotional harassment, bullying, blackmail and invasion of privacy, claiming the rapper shared intimate videos without consent after his alleged romantic advances were rejected.
Blaqbonez denied those allegations at the time, maintaining that the petition was a calculated attempt to tarnish his image amid tensions within the music industry.
There has been no public confirmation of any criminal conviction or court judgment arising from that petition.
From Collaboration to Bitter Rivalry
Odumodublvck and Blaqbonez were once regarded as close collaborators, having worked together on songs including Tesla Boy, Dollars in the Bank and Technician.
However, their relationship began to deteriorate publicly in early 2025 after Odumodublvck claimed his 2023 project, Eziokwu, surpassed every other Nigerian rap album.
The rivalry intensified after the 2025 Headies Awards and escalated further following the release of Blaqbonez's collaboration with A-Q titled Who's Really Rapping, which many listeners interpreted as containing lyrical shots aimed at Odumodublvck.
Speaking on the dispute, Odumodublvck insisted the conflict had moved beyond music.
"This is not a rap beef. Na me and you for this world... I am not fighting you. I hate you," he wrote.
The latest exchange has pushed the dispute beyond artistic rivalry into allegations with potential legal implications, with both artistes now appearing set for a courtroom battle rather than another lyrical showdown.
