Aiyedatiwa Re-Appoints Taiwo Fasoranti As SSG After Losing Ondo Central Senatorial Ticket

The Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has approved the re-appointment of Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti as the Secretary to the State Government (SSG).

The Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Ebenezer Adeniyan in a statement on Tuesday said the appointment takes immediate effect.

Dr. Fasoranti was the SSG until March 30, 2026 when he resigned to contest in the Senate primaries of the All Progressives Congress for Ondo Central Senatorial District.

He however lost the ticket to the incumbent, Senator Adeniyi Adegbonmire following the decision of the National Working Committee of the APC to forward the name of the incumbent to INEC.

The Governor’s CPS in a statement added that, ” Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti brings to the office a wealth of experience in public administration, policy formulation, and governance.”

” Governor Aiyedatiwa congratulates Dr. Fasoranti on his appointment and charges him to justify the confidence reposed in him by serving the people of Ondo State with dedication, integrity, and commitment to the Our Ease agenda of his administration,”the statement added
