BBNaija 11: ‘Are You Children?’ Temi Nkem Questions Housemates Over English Confusion

Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate, Temi Nkem, has sparked an early disagreement in the reality show after confronting fellow contestants over their difficulty understanding her while she read out instructions from Big Brother.

The incident occurred on Sunday, the opening day of the “Show Ya Sef” edition of the reality television show, after Big Brother instructed one of the housemates to visit the diary room and collect the guidelines for the week.

Temi Nkem volunteered to carry out the task and subsequently returned to the main house to read the instructions to the other contestants.

However, the exercise did not go as smoothly as expected, as some of the housemates reportedly struggled to follow her delivery and indicated that they were having difficulty understanding what she was saying.

The confusion interrupted the reading of the instructions and appeared to create tension among the contestants.

Clearly frustrated by the reaction from her fellow housemates, Temi Nkem questioned why they were unable to understand her.

“Are you children that you don’t understand English? How is it possible that you don’t understand English?” she asked.

The exchange marked one of the earliest moments of tension among the Season 11 contestants, coming shortly after the housemates entered Biggie’s house.

Temi Nkem, 21, had earlier presented herself as a confident contestant with a clear game plan and plenty to say, signalling that she intended to play the competition on her own terms.

Her approach during the early disagreement has already drawn attention from viewers, with the incident likely to become one of the first talking points of the new season as the housemates settle into life under Biggie’s watch.

The “Show Ya Sef” season continues to bring together contestants from different backgrounds and personalities, with viewers expected to see more clashes, alliances and relationships emerge as the competition progresses.
